| This is 10 percent luck, 20 percent skill 15 percent concentrated power of will 5 percent pleasure, 50 percent pain And 100 percent reason to remember the name
[ Fort Minor ] Mike He doesn't need his name up in lights He just wants to be heard whether it's the beat or the mic He feels so unlike everybody else, alone In spite of the fact that some people still think that they know him But f**k em, he knows the code It's not about the salary It's all about reality and making some noise Makin the story - makin sure his clique stays up
Who the hell is he anyway? He never really talks much Never concerned with status but still leavin them star struck Humbled through opportunities given to him despite the fact That many misjudge him 'cause he makes a livin from writin raps Put it together himself, now the picture connects Never askin for someone's help, to get some respect He's only focused on what he wrote, his will is beyond reach And now when it all unfolds, the skill of an artist

| Honestly.....i forgot I had a Xanga.
Ive been busy with school, frisbee, church, and other activities. I also got a new program to chat with my friends online, so I havent had this void that is xanga.
Anyway, things are going good. Just finding out where God is leading me and the others in my life. Ive been having a fun time just hanging out this summer in Athens. It seems like this is really the place that I feel that is right for me. I am glad to be here, and I can't wait to spend the next few years here before I prob go back to Florida.
God bless you all,
SK

| Today I just sprawled out in the sun today for like 3 hours. It was about 80 out and it felt like I was baking (i can't smell very good so im not sure...lol), but I enjoyed every second of it. On the rare occasion that clouds blocked the rays of the massive ball of fire....I was saddened. There is something about the sun glaring down at me with all of its power from millions miles away.
Light travels at 3x10^8 meters per second or (200,000 miles per second)....this means that the light that reaches our world, is nearly 8 minutes old. Its amazing enough that heat and light can travel this far....through 93 million miles of space between the Earth and the Sun....let alone the fact that we happen to be in the sweet spot. We are this far away and people complain of heat....imagine if we were another 500 miles inward....can you say Toasty!!! I have nothing but thanks...500 miles farther away and we would be all living like eskimos.
Anyway...you know how you can feel the hot Sun's rays on your shoulders, almost like a burden of weight that is not there. Well....to me, that is when I feel closest to God.
I feel like he is right there, with me, and he gives me energy beyond what I can imagine. My body feels complete, my soul feels lighter, and fall in love with God all over again. The verity of his tantalizingness is well beyond words, or even comprehension, but I like to think that God gave us the Sun in our sky so that we could see everything he created for us. There is a reason our days are not covered in shadow or hidden from view. He illuminates the world around us, our world, for absolutely nothing in return.
So, thank you God, for this humble Earth, for our radiant Sun, the ability to see your Majesty, and for the sacrifice of your Son.
